3,600 POUNDS OF SOON-TO-BE SWEATERS
"REED POINT SHEEP DRIVE - SEPT. 6
REED POINT, MONTANA
Oh, I’ve GOT to see this,” you say to yourself. The words no sooner leave your mouth than the annual running of the sheep heads directly toward you. And there’s simply no escape. You heard about things like this happening in a state that’s known for experiences that are a bit on the unusual side. It’s just you thought yours might involve a moose on a hike or something. So you stand your ground and wonder just how close the nearest hospital might be. Scratch that. Make it the nearest veterinarian.

UNEXPECTED AGRICULTURAL ADVENTURES
Most Montana communities have a rodeo at least once every summer, often on the Fourth of July, during the county fair or when someone has a hankering for a good time. As you can see, other communities get a little more creative. Needless to say this isn’t the only unexpected event between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Here’s a few more events to add to the itinerary this summer:
What The Hay, Sept. 13th
Fiberfest Eureka, Aug. 1-2
Montana Mule Days, Jun. 12-14
Livingston Roundup Rodeo, Jul. 2-4
Bear Creek Saloon Pig Races, Weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day
